Summary:
The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performs complex Neuro and Interventional invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assists the physician in diagnosis and treatment of patients. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Works with chemotherapy agents, cements, and embolization agents. This position is 100% clinical and may require mandatory call as needed.Qualifications Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
State of Connecticut Radiographer license.
ARRT certification in Radiography required.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
