Scope of Position: Responsible for supporting warehouse inventory accuracy and coordinating inventory transactions needed for daily operations.  Maintains accurate inventory controls through adherence to company guidelines and policies while providing outstanding customer service.  Provides systems expertise and support to ensure inventory accuracy using PeopleSoft Inventory,  Manhattan SCALE WMS System and other inventory tools.  Works cross functionally to resolve inventory issues.  Responsible for effective inventory management.  Implements process improvements and trains others on inventory systems and tools.
Responsibilities: Manage Cycle Count Process per scheduled cycle including financial approval and systems adjustment and reconciliation when appropriate Ensure timely completion and reconciliation of cycle counts by WH personnel Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action on inventory discrepancies/variances (i.e. Cycle Count) Compile and report Inventory Metrics including Cycle Count Accuracy (physical & financial), adjustment metrics and reasons, inventory improvement projects, etc. Generates reports for inventory analysis and troubleshooting Process inventory transactions for inventory movement between business units, expired material, damaged product, non-BOM inventory consumption, UOM corrections  Manages the expired products process to include pulling product, scheduling discard truck, and processing transactions in the ERP system Train other employees on SCALE WMS system, processes and transactions Support Warehouse during auditing of data / processes Conduct / lead root cause analysis for Warehouse/Inventory issues/problems/errors Identify continuous Process improvements in inventory management/warehouse processes WH SME – Maintain SME knowledge, purpose and communicate training opportunities, understand and apply LEAN concepts throughout the Warehouse environment Maintains good housekeeping conditions in working areas and observes local and global Corning specific safety regulations and practices in daily work Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time :
Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday –Friday, evening/night shift Flexibility required to support 24/7 facility Paid overtime may be required Required Education:   High School Diploma or GED Required Years and Area of Experience: Minimum 2+ years' supply chain, logistics or material planning Skills / Experience: Significant attention to detail, coordination and communication Understands and applies warehouse and inventory control fundamentals in accordance with company policy Demonstrated ability to drive results in a team environment Professional written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of MS Office applications Excellent organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills: Working knowledge of People Soft or Manhattan SCALE WMS system Advanced MS Excel skills APICS certification This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is  $32,900.00   -  $45,238.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
