We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated team player as an Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Specialist. This position is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory needs and status to our fulfillment and operations teams.
Schedule: Thursday, 5pm-5:30am / Friday & Saturday, 6pm-5:30am (overtime as needed)
\n RESPONSIBILITIES Determine new SKU - forward picksAnalyze data to make decisions for inventory slottingPrepare forward picks to optimize for salesMust be able to keep up in a fast paced environment, and respond to demands as they ariseAssist with inventory cycle count program performing counts on our inventory dailyPull and systematically process damaged, expired, recalled items, as neededCommunicate (both verbally and electronically) effectively amongst multiple departments using different means of communicationConsistently meets established performance standards for the role, including (but not limited to), safety, quality, productivity, and teamworkAccurately read labels on products, product containers and packages, and follow electronic and/or paper order picking detailsMust be able to lift items weighing 1 to 50 poundsMust be able to stand/walk for 8 to 12 hours a dayMust be able to bend and/or squat to get to product(s) in lower picking levels and must be able to reach at, or above shoulder level to get to product(s) located in the higher picking locationsMust have adequate hearing to hear warnings from powered vehicles, emergency alarms, and announcementsMay perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor or other functions of the operation as needed to ensure a quality experience to our membersMay be exposed to fumes and odors on occasionMoves items from one forward pick location to another based on velocityMake sure all forward pick locations are set up correctly with accurate informationConsolidate inventory in the warehouse for better accuracy of locationsMust have knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets with the ability to use and create themCapable of understanding velocity report and how to adjust based on these QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent Preferred, 2-year degree in logistics or inventory managementAbility to physically count and move products on shelves, racks, and palletsAbility to read and interpret documents such as inventory reports, operating procedures to ensure inventory is audited and accurateAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and writtenMust be able to safely operate all powered equipment (forklift, electric pallet jacks, manlift) BELONG TO A BETTER COMPANYComprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and disability)Competitive pay + equityOpportunities for advancement.
