Job Summary
The Inventory Control Assistant Manager oversees inventory management processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely stock replenishment, and efficient inventory systems. They assist in managing inventory records, coordinating stock audits, and implementing inventory control procedures to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce discrepancies. Position ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading and developing all members of the Inventory teamSlot all new itemsFollow new product slotting procedure.Create and maintain locations for all new and existing products.Un-slot disc. itemsSlot items according to pick bay size and movement (weekly).Physical inventory of every pick bay (monthly).Physical inventory of every overstock bay on a rotating basisMaintain all location stickers (daily).Recode voice check digits (10 daily)Processing returns and assign pick errors (daily).Slot seasonal and pre-order items.Manage replenishment quantities.Monitor open slotsHelp with warehouse pickups (office close to door).General error assessment.Display regular and predictable attendance.
