Key Responsibilities: Customer Materials and Liabilities Management:Manage and update spreadsheets monthly (more frequently?) for each customer, tracking inventory levels, and customer liabilities.Monitor and track expired and obsolete materials, working closely with the sales team (purchasing, production, R&D, QA, Accounting) to determine the best course of action.Coordinate bi-weekly meetings to review Hold & Old inventory and follow up on agreed upon resolution. Gather necessary approvals for disposal, invoicing to customer, shelf life extension, etc. Coordinate proactive strategies with purchasing, production, and sales teams to avoid materials from expiring.new product launch discussions to identify unique inventory required, what inventory levels are required, how credit limit effects decisions, etc.Data Analysis and Reporting:Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze inventory data and generate customer-specific reports.Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.Provide insight to management on trends related to customer materials and liabilities.Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer inventory management.Qualifications: Strong accounting skills with prior success in an accounting-focused position.Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with inventory management software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or retail industries.Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on customer materials and liabilities.Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus.Working Conditions: This role typically operates in an office environment, with occasional visits to warehouse or production facilities as required.
