Position Overview:
As the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including procurement, storage, distribution, and inventory analysis. Your strategic insights and keen attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate inventory levels, minimizing costs, and optimizing inventory processes to meet the demands of our growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to ensure efficient inventory control and accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely replenishment.
Analyze inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, inventory optimization, and process improvements.
Manage inventory systems and software to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and generate reports for management review.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Lead and mentor inventory team members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to inventory management best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, such as ERP and WMS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing and developing a team.
