In this role, you will act as a critical member in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our portfolio and fund-level performance analyses while supporting internal teams and clients with insights. Key Responsibilities: Work with our Portfolio Manager(s) to develop and assist in presenting illustrations using market, economic, and portfolio data to inform decision-making. Regularly update and maintain accurate investment factsheets, highlighting portfolio and fund-level performance. Assist in conducting due diligence and research on various investment vehicles, such as Collective Investment Trusts, Stable Value products, mutual funds, and ETFs delivered by investment strategists or insurance companies Act as a key point of contact for sales teams, clients, and other stakeholders, addressing inquiries regarding portfolio performance, investment strategies, and market conditions. Assist in providing ad-hoc and customized reports tailored for Workplace and State client Prepare detailed performance reports on a regular basis, including attribution analysis, risk metrics, and benchmarking comparisons. Assist and implement opportunities to improve portfolio analysis and reporting capabilities. Understand and communicate industry trends, market developments, and emerging investment strategies and solutions internally. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certification preferred. At least 5 years of experience in an investment role, with a proven track record of delivering insights and performance analytics. Proficiency in using investment data analytics and portfolio optimization tools such as Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, or similar platforms. Understanding of the retirement and/or state savings program landscape. Exceptional analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders. Self-motivated and adaptable, with a passion for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role will be based in our New York City HQ and will be part of Vestwell's hybrid in-office operation.
The expected base salary range for this position is $100K - $120K. This position is eligible to participate in the Company Bonus Pool and is eligible to receive new hire equity in the Company. Please note that salary bands are based on NY and other similar metro areas and may differ based on where the role is ultimately hired.
