Threat Tec, a leader in operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Irregular Warfare Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves providing critical analysis and support to enhance Special Operations Forces (SOF) capabilities in Irregular Warfare (IW) activities.
\n Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain an in-depth understanding of IW-related activities, including unconventional warfare (UW), stabilization, foreign internal defense (FID), counterterrorism (CT), counterinsurgency (COIN), military information support to operations (MISO), cyberspace operations, countering threat networks, counter-threat finance, civil-military operations, and security cooperation.Oversee and manage the day-to-day administration of IW-related project tasks.Act as an advisor for IW-related activities pertinent to special operations.Support capability-based assessments and the development of SOF and Joint requirement documents.Assist in the development of strategic guidance and coordinate activities with HQ J-Directorates, Service Components, JSOC, and TSOCs as required.Participate in IW-related forums, working groups, and external assemblies, such as conferences and technology showcases.Coordinate USSOCOM participation in Joint Staff and OSD IW-related meetings and working groups.Orchestrate USSOCOM-hosted IW-related meetings and working groups.Provide expert analysis to identify solutions and areas for further study to address IW-related capability gaps.Engage in wargames, experimentation, concept development, and DOTmLPF-P event analysis and change recommendation.Apply project management principles to meet task requirements effectively.Prepare general/flag officer-level reports, briefs, information papers, and presentations.Develop and maintain an electronic resource, including key points of contact, to ensure mission continuity accessible to stakeholders. QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution.Minimum of 5 years of experience performing or supporting Special Operations IW-related activities, including UW, stabilization, FID, CT, COIN, MISO, cyberspace operations, countering threat networks, and related areas.Minimum of 2 years of experience assigned to a Combatant Command (USSOCOM preferred).Demonstrated ability to use SharePoint effectively.3 years of experience developing and presenting verbal and written products at the general/flag-level command staff.2 years of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).Prior military experience as a senior officer (O4/O5) or senior enlisted (E7+). Preferred QualificationsStrong organizational and communication skills.Demonstrated expertise in Irregular Warfare activities and SOF operational methodologies.Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
