Position Overview: We are currently seeking an early career Information Technology candidate to join our growing organization.
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting network databases and systems, updating and maintaining system hardware and software, troubleshooting for system errors, and assisting team members while ensuring all data security and technical requirements are met.
A background in information technology or computer science with exposure to business administration is required.
This individual must be business-minded and able to start and maintain professional relationships with the company's outsourced IT vendors.
A selection of accountabilities is listed below:
Ensure that the business extracts full business value from IT SystemsUnderstand the business needs and detail the business and system requirements that address these needs day to day, on projects, and initiativesBecome a specialist on how the business processes utilize existing IT solutions and facilitate implementation of new business processes and system modifications to simplify operationsProactively find opportunities for IT to deliver innovative solutions to the businessAnalyze data to present informed and accurate business decisionsAdminister network devices and data security including; active directory and group policy management, anti-malware protection, email security, and endpoint security managementPerform data backups to ensure all company-owned data is saved and secureInstall and update network and system improvementsInstall and configure wired and wireless networking equipmentMonitor servers, cloud applications, LAN/WAN networks, and Wi-Fi connectivity to ensure full availabilityProduce technological solutions to business needs and evolving security requirementsAssist with the design, implementation, and support of new software and featuresEvaluate current connectivity, equipment, and software and hardwareRespond to IT issues, hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.Provide helpdesk and technical support through phone, remote access, and on-site visitsTroubleshoot system errors and managing support tickets and vendorsBuild and maintain vendor relationshipsConsult with vendors to integrate and update company technologySet up equipment for new users and employeesEnsure system optimization for all technology resources Required Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, with concentration in computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred1-2 years' experience in an information technology roleExperience working and managing vendors within information technologyApplicable understanding of network, device, and server managementFamiliarity with cloud and hybrid deploymentsKnowledge of use and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics, and Project servers both Online and on-premisesKnowledge on use and maintenance of on-premises virtual and bare-metal serversUp-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, hardware, and security requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detailProfessional level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; self-confidence.Possesses innate quantitative reasoning capability, is highly insightful and capable of achieving the required outcomes under all conditions and at all times – an effective winner who is unwilling to fail.Applies premier listening skills and is capable of serving in a business context at the highest order.Is a practitioner of humility and empathy in balance with maximum intensity to purpose.Comprehensive leadership capability inclusive of team member development/advancement, informal mentoring and chronic deployment of cultural requirements.The following personal attributes: intellectual curiosity, a passion for business leadership, a positive attitude and belief in what's possible, unwavering self-discipline, commitment to mission and the inherent urge to do what's right.The ability and commitment to: maintain professionalism at all times, execute under pressure while achieving the highest level of quality, seek direction and improve the skills of your team to achieve rapid professional development within your portfolio of resources.The legal right to work full time in the United States without the requirement of sponsorship by either a company or third party. The expected annual compensation is as follows:
Year 1-2: Commensurate - $70,000Year 3+: $100,000 - $150,000 The position above offers a lucrative compensation package consisting of a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus and a comprehensive benefit package, including employer funded health, vision and dental benefits, life insurance, short and long term disability, 401(k) savings plan and paid time off.
