This person will serve as the front line for all incoming IT request in addition to assisting in a wide range of network and systems administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for truly excellent customer service as well as the skills necessary to support a cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing aerospace organization.
\n Responsibilities:Serve as front line for all incoming IT support request. Manage incoming tickets according to ITIL principles. Write solutions and contribute knowledge articles as warranted to maximize productivity.Configure, deploy and redeploy end user systemsMaintain and administrate application servers across a range of functions and configurations.Conduct new hire orientations and other internal presentations as needed.Manage all IT purchasing and inventory. Receive incoming equipment and stock IT supplies.Support conference rooms and other AV technologies to maximize performance and uptime.Support printing, building security, badge access and MES related hardware as necessary. Install other IT equipment such as video displays, IP cameras, access points, and 'smart' devices.Intermediate network administration.Operate in accordance with applicable ITAR and EAR policies.Support the implementation of our company wide InfoSec program according to multiple DOD requirements.Support and periodically upgrade PLM and HPC servers both onsite and in the cloud.Manage InfoSec security training program and drive accountability for company results. Review and periodically update written security and equipment policies.Negotiate software licenses agreements and manage 3rd party IT vendors. Requirements: High availability and exceptional customer service skills.BS in Computer Science or related field. Comparable industry certifications considered in lieu of degree.5+ years of experience as an IT Analyst or Support technician.2+ years of experience in systems and/or network administration.Ability to occasionally work after hours and weekends to minimize downtime to production systems.Expertise with all majors operating systems (Windows, OSX, Ubuntu and Debian).Up to date understanding of computer hardware specifications. Ability to replace and upgrade individual system components (CPU, Ram, Storage) as needed.Understanding of DOD and NIST cybersecurity security requirements.Experience and or expertise supporting and managing a broad range of information technologies including.Networking: DHCP, DNS, Low voltage cabling, IPsec, VPN.Systems Administration: Virtualization, Windows Server, Ubuntu, MDM: Intune, ABM, Canonical or equivalent.Productivity Applications: Microsoft 365, Slack, Atlassian Suite etc.
\nSalary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 a year
