We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory management, compliance reporting, deprovisioning, and support services. You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure all assets are tracked accurately and efficiently, and that compliance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (hardware, software, telecom) from procurement through disposal.Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure assets are properly tracked in the system.Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure data integrity and compliance with policies.Develop and manage processes for warranty repairs, asset recycling, and deprovisioning.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely provisioning of equipment for new hires and decommissioning of equipment for offboarding employees.Support reporting needs for software license compliance and IT governance.Provide support and training to staff on asset management processes and tools.Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping of all asset-related activities.Requirements:
3+ years of experience in IT asset management or related field.Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management and inventory control.Experience with IT asset management software (e.g., ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Snipe-IT, or similar).Familiarity with compliance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL) and best practices.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.Preferred:
