* POSITION: Helpdesk Administrator DEPARTMENT: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY REPORTS TO: Network Administrator Primary Responsibilities
The IT Helpdesk Administrator will provide technical assistance and support for incoming helpdesk tickets and issues related to end-user computers.
The admin will be required to document trouble tickets in a web-based helpdesk system.
Maintain an IT FAQ to enable user self-support.
Additional Responsibilities include Analyzing and resolving end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion.Providing end user training where requiredWorking technical knowledge of current network hardware and standards.
Continually work toward updating and improving technical skills in order to growBasic knowledge of Active Directory, VoIP, Networking and General Systems administration Experience: 1+ years in an Information Technology-related field Proficiency in hardware and software roll-outsProficiency in anticipating and responding to end-user requirements Proficiency in Windows hardware and softwareProficiency in Office Applications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working experience with a wide range of hardware and software to include: Microsoft Windows OS family Apple OS family Virtual Machines and environments (Hyper-V) Microsoft OfficeClient-side securityPrinters Laptops, Desktops, Mobile Phones, Tablets, TVsWritten and verbal communication skills: comfortable communicating procedures, recommendations, and actions with end-users ranging from the very technical to non-technical Comfortable with researching and deploying open-source solutions Comfortable working independently or as part of a team, as the situation requires PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
