Primary Purpose and FunctionThe Field Service Engineer's overall performance objective is to provide the best possible support and customer service for our clients. They are responsible for handling standard on-site requests submitted by our customers or coordinated by Dispatch, as well as helping work remote tickets when not assigned to an on-site. Standard on-site requests include, but are not limited to, on-site troubleshooting, workstation setups on-site or at Xantrion HQ, deployment projects, new hire account setups, and recurring and ad-hoc on-site coverage.
Essential DutiesOnsite support at various client sites around the San Francisco Bay Area.Provide excellent customer service to Xantrion's client base.Provide technical support as assigned for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.Perform other duties or special projects assigned.Required Experience and QualificationsAuthorization to work in the U.S.2 to 6 years of technical support (IT Service Desk, Helpdesk, Desktop) experience.A valid CA driver's license.A reliable mode of transportation.Exceptional customer service and communication skills.A bachelor's degree from a four-year university or equivalent experience is required.Preferred QualificationsTechnical certificates such as CompTIA A+, MS-900, AZ-900 certification.A love of computer technology and gaming.Benefits100% of medical, dental, and vision for you and your family.401K with match up to 4% of salary.Certification and training reimbursement.17 Days PTO per year (in addition to training allowance).Bonuses for referring new clients or employees.Salary$55,000 to $65,000 per year.Xantrion is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
