Apprenticely is working with our company partner, First Baptist Church Rogers to add IT Generalist Intern to their team in Northwest Arkansas!
Our Apprenticely Internship Program is a three-month program that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor. Internships are designed as an on-ramp to an IT career and can roll into full-time positions based on employer demand.
\n What You'll Do:Handle help desk tickets for the church and school sites using the Spiceworks web-based program.Set up and troubleshoot MacOS and Windows devices, including installing software and managing system administration tasks.Perform hardware installations, including network cables, fiber cables, and security cameras.Conduct punchdowns for network cables and manage DVRs, firewalls, and printers. What Skills Does an Ideal Candidate Have?Basic familiarity with MacOS and Windows operating systemsWillingness to learn and exposure to IT generalist tasksExperience with network cable punchdowns preferred Strong sense of professionalism Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse teamStellar customer service, and attention to DetailsCurrent Arkansas state residentAbility to work full-time in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship Our Must Haves:Current Arkansas state residentAbility to pass a standard background checkAbility to work 36-40 hours a weekAbility to work full-time in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorshipTechnical aptitude exhibited through projects, experience, or online learning and the ability to communicate what you know Details:Pay: $15Schedule: Sunday 7:00 AM - 12:30PM, Monday , Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Wednesday 8:00 AM - 7:30 PMLength of Internship: 3 months Location: First Baptist Church Rogers, AR
\nHow does the interview process work? Apprenticely will conduct an initial phone interview and assessment. Apprenticely will send selected resumes to companies that match the candidate's skills and interests. Our employer partners will decide who to interview and select the final candidates for the internship program.
