Position Summary:

A successful IT Helpdesk employee at TTX will be responsible for first line troubleshooting of user calls and IT help tickets.
In addition, you will assist in maintaining the functionality of the computer workstations, and all manufacturing equipment with internet connections located in the fabrication space.
A working knowledge of basic computer hardware, mobile devices, phone systems, printers, as well as basic user software is a must.
A working knowledge of IOT networks and industrial machines would be a help.
In this position you will wear many IT hats and work with many different styles of people and departments.
A positive "can help" attitude and a love for service, learning, problem solving & troubleshooting is a must.


General Responsibilities:

- Offer daily operations and systems support to users both in-house and in the field

- Complete documentation as needed within the IT documentation software

- Train users in software or IT use as needed

- Support other members of the team on various system projects as needed

- Work with outside companies/support personnel as needed

- Continue to further knowledge base through study and various forms of education annually

- Support IT, even after regular hours as necessary, in the event of required patches, system downtime or catastrophic situations.


- Travel as required to satellite TTX facilities or job installation sites

- Strong troubleshooting skills

Requirements:

- High School diploma required, related post-secondary education, training and/or certification preferred

•Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once

- Understanding of IT Security and its place within industrial working environments

•Organizational skills to manage issues and help tickets from start to finish

•Meet deadlines and manage stress effectively

•Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality

•Experience with Windows 11, IOS, Microsoft Office 365 programs, Windows Server & Active Directory

•Comfort level in teaching other users in many areas of technology and various software platforms
