Role Overview The IT Department is responsible for maintaining and managing internal and hosted hardware, software, and systems. This role serves as an IT Helpdesk Technician, supporting both internal and hosted systems.
\n Key ResponsibilitiesUpdate tickets by gathering information and defining the ticket urgencyComplete assigned tasks and tickets by following documented procedures, including Staging, Installation, Configuration, Upgrade and Maintenance of software and physical and virtual servers and workstationsCommunicate with professionalism and succinctly include relevant information when handing off tickets to the appropriate Line of Business, NOC Systems Administrators, Infrastructure Engineering and Systems Engineering teamsTroubleshoot ticketed problems, including coordinating with Vendor support teams Qualifications1+ years of experience in IT or a related roleStrong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for servers and systemsExceptional verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProfessional and courteous communication with internal and external customersDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentCapacity to maintain confidentiality of shared documentationCollaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Windows Workstation and computer/network hardware administration
