It Operations Manager

Description Leidos is seeking an IT Operations Manager to support the Digital Solution, Inc. program.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage a team of 5 to 10 experienced individuals providing IT support and consultation to various U.S. Government officials and their offices/staff.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in end user computing technologies and the ability to teach and transfer knowledge to entry level staff.
This role also involves managing processes, operational planning, and developing key performance objectives to achieve successful outcomes for customer stakeholders.
An important requirement is the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field with eight plus (8+) years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree Experience teaching and consulting new technology support professionals Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional after hours/weekend projects Strong communication skills and experience interfacing with stakeholders and different levels of customer organizations Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance Preferred qualifications: Five plus (5+) years' experience supporting customer needs on Capitol Hill and advising them on technology-related matters Three plus (3+) years' managing or leading as a manager or team lead Leidos offers a welcoming culture, competitive compensation, and benefits.
