Job Summary The IT Operation department at BBC has an opportunity for a student to assist students, faculty & staff with hardware/software computing problems.
The position will also include the following: Oversee Lab opening functions, including filling printer with paper and assisting users with basic functionality of the Lab.
Assist Supervisor with the management of the Lab, including cleaning computer equipment and tables, move equipment as needed, setup computer systems and assist with software installations and updates.
Answers calls and assist with customers in both the front desk and in the computer lab.
Works on various operating systems (Mac and Windows) and performs maintenance on workstations.
Have 0-2 years of scripting experience with: Powershell Command-line Html 0-1 Computer networks (routers, switches, servers) Student employees will be task on configuring the computer systems.
This will consist of : Troubleshooting the workstation.
Both from a software and hardware perspective.
