IT Security Analyst - Mid-Level
Must have between 5-10 years of exp
100% Remote
12 months with potential extensions
Contract or Contract to Hire
Should have intermediately PowerPoint experience and Outlook basics
GRC experience (teachable); governance; policy and standard management
Manage and drive steering committees and stakeholder feedback
Driving large change initiatives; work with a lot of stakeholders; drive sessions and create write ups (the most important)
Experience working in corporate environment (required)
Jira and Confluence is a plus
Be able to build presentations (PP) (intermediate level required)
Outlook experience; scheduling meetings, etc. (basics required)
This role is within IT GOVERNANCE (not risk assessment or risk management)
Reason/Intent: Fill Contractor role to support IT Policy Management and Governance Management.
Location: Remote/National
What are we looking for:
An mid level candidate who understands the IT landscape with regards to Governance Risk & Compliance (candidate should have proven knowledge of the IT landscape as a whole)
Should have an understanding of governance and risk management
Basic understanding of tools & technologies (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Confluence, One Note, familiar with SharePoint)
General responsibilities:
Assist in developing and driving policy management
Lead management of several Governing bodies
Mix of administrative, highly cross-functional

Flexible with work schedule
Majority of work time falls between 9-5 EST
Our Vision for the role:
We are looking for an IT Risk & Compliance Analyst to supplement our IT Governance team.
A successful Analyst can work effectively with a variety of stakeholders across the IT organization, interfacing and engaging in a multitude of ways in a remote and non-remote environment.
This person will regularly engage with IT Architecture, IT Compliance, IT Governance Risk and Compliance in an enhanced capacity to support governance activities, process improvement and alignment with IT Policies.
This person will facilitate and engage with the broader IT organization to gather feedback, document and record changes, ideas, requests and inputs into the IT Policies & IT Standards process.
The Analyst will manage and facilitate several of our Governing bodies across IT and helping to drive improvement, alignment and drive value with key senior IT Leadership.
The Analyst must be able to utilize standard collaboration and communication tools in a moderately advanced manner to effectively engage with stakeholders, prioritize efforts, document processes and share information. Example tools include; Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Excel, Power BI. (plus)
A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently in an organized manner. Communication is key, not only to group internal coworkers, but to all relevant stakeholders across the organization. Candidate will demonstrate the ability to work calmly under pressure and appropriately deal with rapid changes to required activities and timelines.
The Analyst will utilize Communication/Collaboration tools and skills to increase engagement and interaction in the IT Policy & IT Standards space. Help the IT Organization understand the value of IT Governance. Ensure alignment and appropriate prioritization of efforts across multiple groups within IT.
The Qualifications and Skills that will make you successful:
Aptitude for IT Risk & Compliance concepts and methodologies
Experience utilizing Microsoft Tools, such as; SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, Project, Planner.
Creating posts, pages, libraries, discussions within MS SharePoint & Confluence.
Minor Technical knowledge across multiple IT Domains
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
Conceptual understanding of IT Standards & IT Policies
Knowledge in Governance practices and methodologies
Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic, time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to work in a remote setting.

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience

Help to create transparency, efficiency and foster collaboration within the Policy & Standards space. You will play a key role in how we engage with the broader IT population as well as IT Leadership to help ensure IT Policies are written in an effective manner, our Governing bodies
