Reporting to the Director of Network Operations, the IT Service Technician is responsible for analyzing and diagnosing issues related to computer configurations, networking, and access controls. Your duties will primarily revolve around computer and network device configuration and troubleshooting, installing and setting up employee desks with hardware, troubleshooting hardware performance, administrating user accounts and access control permissions, and upgrading operating systems or software packages as required by users. To be successful in this role, you will need knowledge of computer hardware and software, Windows and MacOS operating systems, user permissions and controls, system configuration, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft Office.
\n The IT Service Technician must:Onboard, Offboard and manage Active Directory objects (Accounts, Groups, Computers) in a Microsoft Azure environmentTroubleshoot common connectivity issues with applications, network resources, and endpoints.Have a desire to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. Understand and apply current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP). Be detail oriented and articulate in all communications and ticketing documentationPerform other duties as assigned by Stimlabs management. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION Bachelor's degree or related experience in a technical field.2 Years of Professional Experience in a Help Desk Role.2 Years of Professional Experience in Operating System Configuration.2 Years of Professional Experience in Equipment Troubleshooting. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGEKnowledge of Active Directory Users and Computers, Group Policy, Organizational Units, and Security and Access Controls.Knowledge of Business Networks, including Unified WiFi Access, TCP/IP Addressing, and DNS.Working knowledge of common computing break/fix issues related to hardware, software and connectivityTechnical troubleshooting and critical thinking skills are a must. DESIRED KNOWLEDGEWorking knowledge of PowerShell for configuration scripting.Working knowledge of Microsoft Autopilot and Intune deployment and managementKnowledge and experience working under cGDP/cGTP/cGMP or FDA regulated facility preferred.Ability to learn new methods of computer configurations and management.General Understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
