Essential Functions (critical to job function): This position helps to maintain and cultivate Center on Halsted technology at multiple locations by assisting with the administration and maintenance of information technology systems (including desktops, laptops, printers, etc.
), and is responsible for data collection systems, policies, and procedures that ensure the appropriate collection, reporting, and data entry for Center on Halsted programs while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
This position also administers Center on Halsted technology evaluations for new staff, develops and provides core IT staff trainings to develop staff competencies, and provides ongoing technology staff support.
Demonstrated Microsoft 365 / Office Pro expertise required.
Regarding data collection systems, this position currently works primarily with Advanced MD Analytics and Microsoft Access 2021 databases, requiring experience in Access database development, including the ability to use Microsoft Visual Basic and a fundamental understanding of basic SQL functions.
This position also develops and assists staff with data reporting requirements in Advanced MD.
This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively with program staff to discern needs and train staff, and the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
The Center is exploring two CRM solutions that may be implemented in the future including Salesforce and HubSpot.
Experience with either or both of these systems is preferred.
This position will be required to participate in the deployment, training, and provide ongoing staff support for this cloud solution once finalized.
Regarding IT systems, this position provides end user support for the Center's technology.
This position conducts ongoing software and firmware updates for desktops and laptops and will work on additional IT-related projects assigned by the Chief Technology and Facilities Officer (CTFO).
Experience with firewall and Windows server management is preferred.
