Overview:We are seeking an IT Specialist to join our team. An IT Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of an organization's information technology systems. They provide technical support to end-users, manage and maintain hardware and software, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement IT security measures.Apex has a very team oriented and customer driven company culture. We work hard together and celebrate every WIN together as a team.Major Responsibilities:Install and configure hardware and softwareInitiate, track, and respond to trouble ticketsRecord, track, and document the resolution including remediation actionsTimely response to requests and issuesDevelop and maintain equipment repair and replacement methodologyProvide onsite and remote support to usersAssist new hire training for core IT equipment and softwareDeploy equipment for new hires and/or workstation end of lifeMaintain Active Directory and Azure environmentsMaintain O365 environment – including setting up and maintaining user accounts, email boxes, and licensingMaintain SharePoint intranet site – including set up, security, and ongoing developmentWork with outside MSP to ensure corporate compliance and for additional supportMaintain printers, plotters, firewalls, and other network devices across all officesManage and deploy mobile devices through service provide and MDM solutionCreate and track equipment inventoryAssist with development of Power App, Power Automate, or other software solutions to enhance and streamline business processesQualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, macOS) and software applications.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of IT security best practices.Strong communication skills to interact with end-users and team members effectively.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) may be beneficial.We recognize that our people are our most valuable asset—our employees drive our success.
