Job/Position Summary: Provides advanced technical support to the Organizations' computer equipment, users and IT administrators by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: • Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice-mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies
• Handles problem recognition, research, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff
• Logs and tracks all issues using ticket tracking system
• Performs troubleshooting of issues reported.
• Assists in software and hardware upgrades and new installation
• Install/Configures personal computers, software, and peripheral equipment
• Serves as an escalation point to IT administrators
• Install VOIP equipment
• Maintains equipment inventory
• Support Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange email environments
• Assist in maintaining the IT Server Room and closets
• Assist in maintaining the departments knowledge base and additional documentation
• Assist System Administrators on assigned tasks
• Assist Network Administrators on assigned tasks
• Support company meetings setups and support
• Develop and recommend cost effective technical support improvements
• Ability to come to work and work the regular schedule and shift for the position.
• Compliance with all personnel policies and procedures.
• Compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties and related essential duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: • High School Diploma
• 2-year College Diploma preferred
• Knowledge of hardware and networking
• Proficient in Windows
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• A+ certification (plus, not required)
Computer Skills:
• Windows Operating System (Windows 10, 11)
• Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
• Basic Greenway Intergy Product Knowledge (optional)
• Knowledge of basic Networking, VPN and firewall
• Remote desktop connectivity
• Internet browsers (e.g.
Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
• MS Office Suite /2013/2016/2019
• Office 365
• Microsoft Exchange
• Windows Active Directory
• Knowledge of ConnectWise, CrowdStrike, Sophos
Physical Requirements: • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
