As an IT Support Specialist, you'll resolve a wide variety of support requests from Rocket IT clients and employees. You'll work closely with the rest of the Help Desk team and utilize state-of-the-art remote management tools to provide escalated support to help our clients thrive. The ideal IT Support Specialist candidate is an experienced, organized, and efficient problem solver.
Key ResponsibilitiesHelp people and organizations maximize IT uptime and performanceProvide advanced Windows desktop supportSupport and manage cloud, virtual and on-premises serversAdminister and troubleshoot Office 365 Resolve networking incidents and recommend network infrastructure improvementsAssess a variety of escalated client issues and resolve in a timely manner Assist and mentor Tier I support staffProvision and troubleshoot VPN and other remote access solutionsDocument activities, steps to resolution and process improvementsQualifications4-year college degree (IT relevance preferred) 3-5 years IT support experience1-3 years Windows Server experienceProven competency in IP network switches, routers, firewallsOther helpful experience: ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, and/or SonicWALL productsCertifications IT Support Specialists must possess three or more of the following industry certifications:CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, CCNA, or Security+Microsoft MD-102, MS-102, or AZ-104AWS Cloud PractitionerITIL 4 FoundationCertifications should have been completed within the last 5 years, with at least one completed within the last 2 years.
