The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for administration, maintenance, optimization and support of systems and infrastructure including servers, networks, backup and storage systems, o365 and Active Directory. The IT Systems Administrator will help evaluate technologies, design solutions to satisfy business objectives and provide support to identify and resolve technical issues. This role ensures user access to reliable and secure applications and infrastructure for our clients.
Work Arrangements: Hybrid in Seattle, WA. Non-local candidates will not be considered. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: · Network Infrastructure Management
· Implement, manage and maintain local area networks, SDWAN and VPN connectivity and internet systems using best practices for security, availability and performance.
· Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls.
· Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize network traffic.
· Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
· Systems Administration
· Microsoft 365 Administration with experience in Intune and SharePoint management
· Install, configure and maintain server operating systems, storage and backup infrastructure and related software.
· Manage VMware and Hyper-V environments
· Manage certificates and DNS for systems across the enterprise.
· Configure and administer user accounts, permissions and access rights across systems and applications.
· Assist with the management, maintenance, and support of infrastructure components, both cloud based and on premises within the clients locations.
· Provide technical support for application and database components within the server environment.
· Recommend and implement system upgrades and configuration changes to improve the overall posture and security of systems and infrastructure.
· End User Support
· Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
· Collaborate with other team members to provide escalated support and troubleshooting assistance.
· Provide training and guidance to end users on IT best practices and security awareness.
· Security and compliance
· Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
· Monitor systems for security threats, vulnerabilities and breaches.
· Ensure compliance with system security standards and data protection and privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA)
· Respond to security incidents, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
· Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, network configurations and procedures
· Adhere to established support and service management policies and procedures, ensuring activities are fully documented for auditing and future support purposes.

Required for consideration: · 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with 2+ years of professional experience as an IT Network or Systems Administrator.
· Proficient in server administration with strong understanding and experience managing Active Directory roles and Azure AD in a hybrid enterprise environment.
· Strong knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VLANs and routing protocols.
· Hands on experience managing and supporting various network components in the data center and across a multi-location enterprise environment.
· Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware preferred) and storage solutions and technologies.
· Understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices and technologies. Exceptional customer service orientation
