HintonBurdick CPAs and Advisors, a leading regional certified public accounting firm, is seeking an IT Technician in our St. George, UT office.
Job Summary:
The IT Technician will support the firm's technology systems and serve as a liaison between the firm, Managed Service Provider, and related software vendor(s). An ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates a working knowledge of new and existing technologies, has strong organizational skills, and demonstrates a professional and pleasant personality.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Installs and maintains peripheral devices including printers, scanners and other equipment.
• Responsible for inventory management and distribution of devices
• Communicates with Information Technology vendors and acts as a liaison for the firm
• Communicates with end-users to understand and troubleshoot problems.
• Maintains email and intranet services, adding and removing users and accounts.
• Collaborates with Firm Administrator to review and analyze hardware and software needs; recommends changes.
• Assist with onboarding new employees and their login information
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of network programs and capabilities.
• Excellent workstation and network troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Some technical background in infrastructure technologies, e.g., network, voice Education and Experience:
• High school diploma Associate degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred
• A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications preferred.
