IN SHORTWe are looking for a knowledgeable IT Workplace Support Analyst to join our evolving IT function in Manchester.
As part of a small team, you will be instrumental in ensuring SEFE's IT Workplace Support functions smoothly. This role is pivotal in delivering in-person and/or remote support for hardware, software, and network issues encountered by employees. Predominantly on-site, you'll collaborate with IT colleagues, maintaining detailed records to support continuous improvement and provide solutions effectively.
WHAT YOU WILL DOThe IT Workplace Support Analyst is responsible for timely, professional technical support, resolving issues within defined SLAs, and keeping stakeholders informed. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering technical support to end-users, adhering to SLAs.Developing and maintaining documentation such as user manuals, support guides, and knowledge base articles.Promoting and ensuring compliance with ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and request management.Identifying improvement opportunities, supporting IT projects, and fostering collaboration.Ensuring adherence to company policies, including Data Protection and Health and Safety Regulations.Adapting to business needs and carrying out any duties within the scope of the role.WHAT YOU WILL BRINGExperienceProven 1st/2nd line support experience, with hands-on knowledge of resolving technical issues.Technical SkillsProficient with Windows 11, Active Directory, MS Office 365, Exchange 365, and Azure.Strong experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.Knowledge of ITIL principles, committed to high-quality service delivery.Soft SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with all organisational levels.Analytical and problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.CertificationsRelevant qualifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, AZ-900, Microsoft Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation) or a willingness to work toward them.AttributesA pro-active, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to providing support, with a genuine desire for continuous learning and development.ABOUT USSecuring Energy for Europe – it's a simple statement, with a bold ambition.
