Summary
Works under the supervision of the Project Manager or designee with 95% standards of cleanliness within assigned tasks.Candidates should be qualified janitors/cleaners with a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Please Note:This position is available in Granada, Valencia, and Canoga Park with travel to all 3 sites.
Per State of California pay transparency laws, the pay rate for this position is $18.00/hour + $4.41/hour H&W.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The employee will follow all rules and regulations relative to entering and leaving the building.
Must be physically able to perform all duties and tasks in the statement of work and shall be free of communicable diseases.
Must be able to utilize cleaning products, chemicals, vacuums, mops, wringers, dust tools, and floor machines.
Must be able to use equipment such as ladders Will report fires, hazardous conditions, and items in need of repair, such as dead lights, leaking faucets, toilet stoppage, etc.
Basic cleaning tasks to include but are not limited to the following: Empty & Clean Wastebaskets Clean, Disinfect & Polish Water Fountain Replenish Supplies Clean & Sanitize Spot Cleaning Vacuum all Carpets Sweep & Mop all Hard Floors Wipe Clean All Window Blinds and Sills Interior Windows Shampoo Carpets Strip/Scrub/Rinse/Wax, Buff & Seal Floors High Dust & Clean Follow established procedure methods for handling and mixing chemicals Supervision

Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Must have 1 year of experience of progressively responsible housekeeping/sanitation or other work that applies knowledge and skills to perform the position Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Ability to pass background checks & drug test Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of janitorial methods, practices, materials, tools, occupational hazards, and safety precautions of the janitorial work.
