Job TitleJanitor/Production OperatorRequisitionJR000014389 Janitor/Production Operator (Open)LocationGreenville, ILAdditional LocationsJob Description SummaryJob DescriptionTYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:Engage fully in the site's EHS, quality and Performance Excellence programsMaintain the qualification and skills required to perform the Packager role within the Spray Dryer unit and to be able to assist the packaging operation in the granulation unit by performing duties of the Dryer Operator role when assigned.Perform housekeeping duties on a daily basis as assigned by the supervisorLock and secure the general plant after normal business hoursLoad special waste material into the special waste dumpster as requiredOperate fork lift trucks and other machinery, as required, in a safe manner, ensuring that daily checks are completed and documentedAssist other operators on site, as directed by the supervisor / management, to complete assigned tasks as a teamOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Special Skills):High School DiplomaMust have good oral and written communication skillsAdditional Information:Job classifications: New hires generally start at the Janitor position and bid on other jobs as they become available.
Positions and shift assignments will be determined.Janitor - $22.79Packager - $25.83Prestager - $27.00Mix Operator - $29.12Material Handler - $29.38Dryer Operator - $29.38Shifts: Schedule to be determined, shifts vary based on position available on employee's start date.
Three days on, Three days off - 6 am to 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am.
