In this position, you will execute all janitorial duties, including and limited to assisting patients and delivering meals to patients, and customer service.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM rotating weekends, must have flexibility
Location: Richmond, VA
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Utilize various equipment such as high duster, vacuum, mop, spray bottles, floor polisher, linen carts, and trash carts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility. Assisting patients and delivering food when needed. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas. Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas, ensuring compliance with waste management protocols and safety regulations. Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, to maintain hygienic conditions for occupants. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and janitorial equipment as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations and efficient workflow. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in performing assigned tasks and responding to changing priorities or emergent cleaning needs within the facility. Requirements:
Exposure to Blood and Body Fluids: Willingness and capability to handle situations involving exposure or potential exposure to blood and body fluids as required in the course of janitorial duties. Chemical Handling: Experience or familiarity with handling cleaning solvents and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to proper protocols and safety guidelines. Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail while performing cleaning tasks to ensure thoroughness and high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility. Time Management: Proficiency in managing time effectively to prioritize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and complete assigned duties within designated timeframes. Customer Service Orientation: Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, or clients.
