Job Summary:
The Janitorial position consists of keeping the building in a clean and orderly condition by performing cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, washing walls, glass, removing and disposing of trash. It also consists of cleaning snow or debris from sidewalks, pickup of trash on the exterior grounds.
Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities: Daily vacuuming and spot cleaning of carpets in high traffic areas. Weekly wipe and polish of all metal surfaces within hand reach. Daily emptying of trash receptacles in the production and office areas. Daily dust moping and wet moping of all hard surface floors. Dust pictures and clean glass weekly if necessary. Sweep or dust all exposed concrete, vinyl, asphalt, rubber and similar types of flooring daily. Washes all restroom flooring with germicidal disinfectant and removes all spots and stains daily. Washes and polishes restroom mirrors daily. Washes, wipes, dries and disinfects all water bowls, basins, urinals, and toilet seats daily. Fills all soap and paper towel dispensers daily. Cleans walls of fingerprints and spots daily. Reports all maintenance issues to Manufacturing Engineering Manager in a timely manner. Reports all safety issues to EHS Manager in a timely manner. Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Can work overtime and weekends as needed. Can lift up to or over 50lbs Can frequently stand, stoop, kneel and walk within a 8 hour workday.
