Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Administrative Assistant
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Temp
Work Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Working Hours: 9am - 5:30pm (M-F)
Overview:
The global corporation is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Administrative Assistant.
Primary duties involve offering administrative support to the General Manager and his team of seven expatriate team.
You will also contribute to general administrative matters across other departments and assist the accounting process as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not are limited to:
* Assist the General Manager: Coordinate scheduling, arrange meetings and trips, process expense reimbursements, and handle business meals, gifts, and other communications.
* Perform General Administration: Answer phones, greet visitors, prepare mail, order supplies, liaise with external entities, vendors, and maintenance companies, and address general office needs.
* Support Expatriates: Arrange flights, transportation, lodging, and other accommodations for arriving and departing expatriates.
* Assist with Accounting: Process payments, manage invoices, handle checks, and prepare journal vouchers.
* Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
* Administrative or secretarial experience is required.
A specific degree or accounting experience is not required.
* Willing to handle various tasks with flexibility.
* Proficiency in both Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking).
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
