PROJECT MANAGER - Heavy Civil Requirements:
4 years of previous construction project management experience Construction Project Management Degree (Preferred) Strong computer skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Proven track record of leadership Self-Motivated and Hardworking Key Responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring that they are up-to-date and accurately reflect the status of each project. Developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring that they are up-to-date and accurately reflect the status of each project. Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Obtaining estimates for future and current projects. Coordinating and managing subcontractors and construction teams to ensure that work is completed on schedule and to the required quality standards. Developing and implementing risk management plans to mitigate project risks and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained before construction work begins. Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are clearly understood and that all parties are aligned on project goals and objectives. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any issues or risks that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality standards. Preparing and submitting project status reports to clients, stakeholders, and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues. Providing leadership and guidance to project teams, motivating, and empowering them to deliver high-quality work that meets project requirements. Overseeing other managers, superintendents, and company construction employees to ensure that all our construction projects are profitable and successful. Ensuring that all company construction projects are completed in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Benefits:
