Java Healthcare Technology Developer

We are looking for a health technology developer, ideally with experience with modern healthcare standards. Your job will be to work with and be part of a global effort to model and build technology solutions for healthcare. Some of your work will be open source. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement product features in Java and Spring appsEngage with and learn from HL7/FHIR health informatics community around standards-based approaches to modeling and solving healthcare use-casesConsult with our clients and provide strategic advice on how to use technology to solve their problemsBe accountable for ensuring that all working hours are accurately reportedMinimum RequirementsDesire to work on health technologyHave 3+ years experience developing software professionallyExperience in Java and SpringWorked on production applicationsBonus QualificationsExperience building health technology systems with FHIR and CQLProficiency with HAPI and the Java FHIR client librariesProficiency in other programming languages, such as TypeScript and KotlinWorked on design, development, and devops of production Java applications in healthcareWe operate in small, cross-functional, long-lived teams. This is a remote or in-person position - we are based in the Boston area, but remote work from anywhere in the US is acceptable. Some amount of travel is possible.
