At Viget, we help clients concept, design, and launch compelling digital products. As an intern, you'll experience key aspects of a digital project by working with members of other discipline teams. You'll join client meetings to experience presentations and consultations firsthand. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to client work and internal Viget initiatives, and you'll meet regularly with your Advisor to discuss your progress on personalized learning goals.
As a JavaScript Developer intern, you'll refine your skills while creating web applications using React. You'll build a lot—components, games, a custom application, and more. You'll learn industry best practices for testing and how to apply them to your work. You'll join development team meetings and collaborate in pair programming sessions.
\n The BasicsThe internship is offered at our office in downtown Boulder, CO. The internship lasts 10 weeks, from June 9 to August 15.Interns will have June 19th and July 4th as paid holidays.Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (usually 9-5, but we can be somewhat flexible).Relocation is not provided. BenefitsWe offer $580/week ($5,800/summer), paid monthly on a pro rata basis. Course credit is also an option.We provide free coffee, seltzer, soda, and snacks in the office.We provide free lunch once a week to all staff (including interns).We offer several opportunities to connect with coworkers each week, both in-person and virtually, including our weekly all-hands meeting.You'll experience Viget at its most vigorous by participating in summer activities, challenges, hang-outs, etc. Our InternsHave the permanent, legal right to work in the US. Our JS Dev InternsHave experience developing web applications using JavaScript and frameworks such as Vue and React.Advocate for a great user experience in all their work.Have some formal software development training.Enjoy working across disciplines, alongside both our front-end development and design teams.
