Responsibilities
• Analyze, review, and document current functionality for potential areas of improvement• Manage user permissions for tools according to project and team needs• Perform application and system administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs• Test new versions of tools and plug-ins for compatibility• Research and utilize industry standard methods and techniques• Maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and users• Improve JIRA security and set access permissions• Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, and fields• Communicate and share knowledge with internal and external contacts• Manage Incident ticket data for reporting and analytics
Requirements
• Requires a BA degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience• Candidate must possess an active DOD TS/SCI level security clearance• Experience with VMware, virtualization (VMware vCenter, ESXi, KVM)• Experience in system backups and developing standard operating procedures• Minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience with the Atlassian product suite, specifically JIRA• Expert level Atlassian tool administration knowledge on JIRA and Confluence• Ability to construct custom dashboards and integrate JIRA projects with Confluence pages• Ability to automate system tasks using scripting languages• Experience in Atlassian installations, migrations, and plugin installation• LDAP integration experience• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic agile environment• Good time management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills• IAT Level II Baseline Certification• Ability to translate highly technical matter to non-technical audience
