Pay Scale: $17.50 to $18.00
OBJECTIVE
Assist individuals with disabilities to find and maintain employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Assist the jobseeker in identifying personal interests, which lead to a job of choice in the community.
Identify the individual's skills and talents in order to facilitate a job/career choice.
Understand the business community and how individuals with disabilities add value to the workplace.
Identify workplace supports that assist the individual with a disability in becoming employed.
Complete a functional analysis of potential work settings that will match or closely match the individual's skill level.
Able to negotiate or work with employers to customize positions by knowing the jobseeker's interest, strengths, expectations and support needs while also understanding the business and its operations.
Able to identify a wide variety of workplace supports and able to facilitate natural/existing supports in the workplace.
Ability to design a task analysis and use it to collect data on productivity.
Able to collect and analyze data regarding the effectiveness of workplace supports and to guide fading from the job site.
Provides proactive follow along services to monitor work performance and job satisfaction from both the worker and employers' perspectives.
Maintain ongoing and regular contact with the worker and the employer to provide supports knowing the type of support and the intensity of support needed may change over time.
Be familiar with emergency first aid procedures and accident reporting procedures.
Maintain good relations with members, employers, guardians, co-workers, and the public Maintain a manner and appearance that reflects the organization.
Drive van safely and within all guidelines and laws Provide assurance of human and civil rights of members.
AUTHORITY
This person shall have the authority to complete the above responsibilities subject to the verbal and/or written approval of the GSE Manager and/or Employment Services Director
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to learn the special needs of the individuals served.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
certificate required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Bilingual and/or sign language a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic calculations.
REASONING ABILITY
Short term planning skills; judgment regarding quality assurance.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS CPR, First Aid, Article 9 and Member Intervention Training.
If you do not hold these certifications, Gompers will provide training.
A valid Arizona Drive License and a clear 39 month Arizona Motor Vehicle Report required.
Fingerprint Clearance Card.
