Our thriving allergy practice is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician, or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team!
Serum Vial Preparation: Mix serum vials according to protocols.Strong knowledge of standards and all relevant USP compounding guidelines is a plusUse our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to track prescriptions and update/maintain patient account informationInventory Support: Order, organize and keep track of inventoryEnsure a safe and clean environment by setting up and sanitizing your workstationFollow all safety procedures and guidelines for preparation of compoundMonitor and maintain compounding equipmentShip out medication accordingly Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow clinical protocols and safety standards. detailed oriented individual with a positive attitude who enjoys a challenging environmentA focused work ethicStrong knowledge of standards and all relevant USP compounding guidelines is a plusMust be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentProficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Prescription Management software systems and standard office equipment.
Experience: Previous experience in allergy care, mixing serum vials, or administering allergy shots is a plus but not required—we will provide training!Compassionate Care: Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.Hours: Part-time Qualifications: Current certification or licensure as a Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, or LVN.Experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is preferred.Familiarity with AAAAI protocols is a strong advantage.Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.CPR certification is required; additional emergency response training is a plus.
