Redaptive is seeking a Journeyman Electrician responsible for the installation and maintenance of smart meter devices at job sites and project locations for large commercial and industrial customers. In this role, you will travel to job sites across the country to perform installation and maintenance projects. You will partner closely with teams across Redaptive to ensure that installation and maintenance projects can be successfully completed in a timely manner. You will share learnings with stakeholders across Redaptive to help improve the installation and maintenance process. You will partner with the Redaptive Hardware Engineering team to help improve smart meter capabilities. You will provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve their energy consumption measurement needs. \n Responsibilities and DutiesPerform panel audits, smart meter installations, and maintenance projects at job sites across the country.Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.Perform electrical infrastructure audits for EV and Solar job sites across the country.Share learnings with stakeholders across Redaptive to help improve installation and maintenance processes.Partner with Redaptive Hardware Engineering team to help improve smart meter capabilities.Responsible for promoting excellent customer relations. Must be able to interact with the customer, determine their needs, and provide solutions.Plans new or modified installations to minimize material waste, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. Required Abilities and SkillsEffective interpersonal skills to properly represent Redaptive to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner. Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.Ability to perform electrical calculations and read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.Strong verbal and written communication.The position requires electricians' hand tools.Ability to work with hands and multi-task.Advanced electrical knowledge required (NEC and NFPA).Valid state motor vehicle operator's license & clear driving record.Stay up to date and in compliance with the National Electric Code.Maintain current journeyman's electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.Uses and assures proper fit of required PPE safety equipment and clothing.
