Summary of Position: The Plumbing Journeyman will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures. This position requires a strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team and must be able to work in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities and Requirements: • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues.
• Install water heaters, water softeners, and other fixtures.
• Repair and replace fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain records of work performed.
