Responsibilities • Study and analyze blueprints and floor plans to understand the Mechanical system and system layout •Install and maintain building mechanical systems per code •Maintain current knowledge of state regulations affecting mechanical work •Contribute the project profitability by increasing productivity, planning ahead, and not exceeding allotted time for tasks •Working in a safe manner and evaluating tasks •Getting along with co-workers and other trades Qualifications • Successful completion of an apprenticeship with transcripts of formal education •Proven experience working as an installer in a fast-paced environment •Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials and equipment •Working knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work •Exceptional customer service and client focus •Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills •Very familiar with tools and equipment •Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
