JOB SUMMARY To assist store management with basic store operations, developing associates, and achieving store and personal sales goals and standards of performance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals and standards of performanceAssist in training and developing a successful sales teamProvide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees by enforcing all company policies and practicesPerform all opening and closing duties according to company policySupervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in store management's absenceSupervise and manage all aspects of Loss Prevention practices in store management's absenceEffectively communicate all store needs to store managementComplete all assigned tasks and responsibilities promptlyComplete all required trainingProvide a fun, full service experience to all customersResolve customer issues effectivelyUnderstand the Journeys culture and demonstrate it to the teamAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsDesire to succeed in fast-paced retail environmentWillingness to learnCompletion of all training programs leading up to Sales Lead position or equivalent trainingAbility to work night and weekend shiftsAbility to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 poundsStand for long periods of timeMust be at least 18 years of age**Age requirements for part-time employment may vary based on state
