Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Controller to join our finance team.
As the Junior Controller you will work directly with our Chief of Staff and support the company's financial operations.


Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into the accounting system and reconciling transactions.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
Support the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including gathering data and preparing reports for management review.
Perform various ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.
Collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or a Junior Controller (6 - 10 years of relevant work experience in accounting) Experience with entering invoices into a data management system Experience with journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
You must have extensive experience with accounting software: QuickBooks, Xero Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
