Junior Environmental Scientist -Due Diligence

Job Description We are seeking a dynamic, energetic environmental scientist, geologist, or engineer who has 2 or more years of field experience collecting samples and writing technical client assessment reports to support our client in the Boston area.

Job Description: Conduct and prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and other environmental reports Conduct Phase II ESA field investigation activities, including environmental sampling (soil, groundwater, soil gas, and indoor air) Compile and review laboratory and field data Prepare tables, figures, and boring logs for inclusion in technical client-facing reports Assist with scheduling, coordination, and oversight of subcontractor project activities Prepare and implement Health and Safety Plans for site visits Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or related environmental field required.
2 years of professional experience conducting field work for environmental assessment and remediation projects Working knowledge of ASTM assessment standards Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong technical report writing skills with experience contributing content to client facing reports Ability to perform multiple tasks and handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite required.
Familiarity with CAD, and/or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programs a plus Ability/willingness for frequent national travel for field work.
Valid driver's license is required
