Junior Financial Controller (F/M/D)

Team We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team at Raisin Bank. As a tech-driven bank, we are looking for someone who is excited to contribute to our financial management and analysis processes. The Junior Financial Controller will play a important role in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis within a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.
Your Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy with accounting standards.
Support the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data with tech-driven tools.
Ensure compliance with German financial regulations (HGB, IFRS) and banking industry standards.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to senior management to support business growth initiatives.
Your Profile Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role, preferably within the banking or FinTech industry.
Understanding of German accounting principles (HGB) and international standards (IFRS) is plus
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
