As Segpay continues to grow and expand its operations, we are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Junior Onboarding and Risk Specialist to join our dynamic global Underwriting Team. In this role, the selected candidate will primarily work with high-margin ecommerce merchants, receiving comprehensive on-the-job training and hands-on experience to develop a strong understanding of merchant underwriting and onboarding processes.
The Junior Onboarding and Risk Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Underwriting team, ensuring the seamless and effective onboarding of merchants and their websites in alignment with Segpay's policies, risk strategies, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews of merchant websites to verify compliance with company and card scheme regulations.
Assist the Underwriting Team in assessing merchant applications based on acceptance policies and industry regulations.
Perform KYB (Know Your Business) and other due diligence checks utilizing both internal and external resources.
Aid in maintaining merchant files and conducting ODD (Ongoing Due Diligence) checks.
Collaborate with the Account Management team and other internal departments to address inquiries and requests related to merchant onboarding and website assessments.
Undertake additional tasks associated with merchant underwriting and onboarding procedures.
Take on any other assignments and projects as delegated.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Ecommerce setting, preferably working with high-margin merchants.
Basic knowledge of card scheme rules and guidelines.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues effectively.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Proactive self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset, eager to acquire new skills and assume responsibilities.
Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer skills.
