Junior Scheduler

Details of the offer

The Junior Scheduler will assist the scheduling team with monitoring and updating one or more schedules for construction projects.
Updates project schedules and narratives based on production and budget information from project personnel, including engineers, project managers, superintendents and estimating teams.
Analyzes results of schedule update reports on a monthly basis with project team, including jobsite visits.Updates Company preferred programs for schedule progression and financial reporting.
Provides project status reports to direct manager and Project Manager for weekly and monthly project update meetings.
Participates in project status preparation meetings to ensure Project Manager is aware of full project status.
Evaluates and analyzes production progress and identifies possible risk to schedule or budget.
Recommends resolutions to mitigate project delays, as needed.
Maintains knowledge of Company values and strategic plan.Perform additional assignments per management's direction.Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering preferred.1 - 3 years of experience in construction, estimating, or scheduling experience preferred.
Primavera experience from college courses or construction work required.Ability to self-prioritize and self-start projects and task work.Ability to effectively multi-task similar activities in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
Willing and able to learn scheduling activities, process flows and operations management methods.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Basic understanding of constructability issues and ability to read construction drawingsStrong computer skills including the ability to use word processing, spread sheets, etc.
