Qualifications/Requirements: Teaching Degree in secondary educationValid Michigan teaching certificate, or ability to obtain valid Michigan teaching certificateMust possess one of the four core subject (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) certifications (Science certified preferred, DX or DI preferred certifications)Previous high school and/or junior high teaching experience preferredEssential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Display a high degree of knowledge in teaching at the high school and junior high school grade levelsApply sound principles of learning and motivation in the planning, delivery, and assessment phases of students' educationUse technology as a learning tool for students in your coursesEstablish effective relationships with students and models respect for and acceptance of all persons in the school settingEstablish effective and professional relationships with parents, community, and other staff membersCompensation: Per collective bargaining agreement with BCFT
