Typical Day Involves:
Helping children and adults discover amazing library materials and providing fun reading suggestions
Planning and presenting children's programming including makerspace classes
Keeping the library collection fresh by ordering new materials and retiring old ones
Organizing and ordering programming and office supplies
Tracking statistical data
Working a weekly shift in the makerspace assisting patrons in the use of the equipment

We Are Looking for Candidates with:
High school diploma or GED
At least one year experience working with children
Strong public service skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively
Flexibility to learn and use various technology platforms such as Cricut, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator

Hourly Rate, Schedule
Hourly Rate: $18.02
Weekly Hours: 20
Schedule:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 1-5 p.m., and Wednesday 5-9 p.m. Participates in the weekend rotation (Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.) one out of five weekends.
