Job Expectations:
Teach 10+ kinder gym or tumbling classes each week based on progressive curriculum.
Build long lasting relationships with families, and exceed parent expectations. We treat our members like family.
Answer phone calls related to classes and enrollment, and respond to emails.
Help with monthly Peak Playgroup as well as applicable special events.
Train and hire additional staff that will maintain the standards and expectations for the program.
Assist in the implementing of staff training and miscellaneous projects around the gym.
Requirements:
Must be able to be creative and engaging to children. Classes involve gymnastics, tumbling skills, social and emotional skill development, and cognitive development.
Must feel comfortable being silly and singing in front of children and adults.
Must be able to physically lift/spot children.
Must be comfortable going upside down for variations of forward rolls, handstands, and cartwheels (proficiency in these skills is not required).
Must be able to read and follow a lesson plan.
Must be a positive individual, with a passion for children and high energy.
A background in child development, physical education, or gymnastics is a plus.
Additional Information:
Hours will vary between 9:00am-7:00pm each day. Must be able to work 1-2 evenings weekly. Please send resume detailing your strengths and experiences that would make you the perfect fit for our team.
